Dehd - Month

 
This video was created for the band Dehd from Chicago. It was shot from March-June 2020 in Crown Heights Brooklyn and Fort Tilden. 
A tree outside my window grows with the months, changes with the skies. Calendars are like palimpsests for mental vegetations that 
grow each year. A 3D calendar expands through Theresea's room and then down Eastern Parkway so we can touch the days and watch the 
breeze tumble them around between the trees! 



This video was shot on miniDV and iphone with assistance from Sage Teatime Agapoa. Drawings were added useing a Video Painter and 
all was edited using analog equipment and digital programs.

This work was commissioned by Dehd and Firetalk Records.
